A great workplace culture is essential for any company that wants to attract and retain top talent, foster innovation, and achieve long-term success. AĀ positive work environmentĀ can make all the difference inĀ team satisfaction,Ā motivation, and overallĀ productivity.

That’s why we are thrilled to announce thatĀ Kaizen has been recognized in the 2023 Ranking of Great Places to Workā„¢ in Uruguay. This recognition is a testament to our commitment to creating a workplace culture that values and supports our team members, promotes diversity and inclusion, and fosters a sense of community and belonging. We believe that investing in our people and creating a positive work environment not only benefits our team but also drives our business forward.

What is Great Place to Work?

The Certification Great Place to Workā„¢Ā is a program designed toĀ recognize organizationsĀ with aĀ high-quality work culture. The methodology used in this Certification Program is grounded in 30 years of research, aimed at quantifying organizational culture and comparing it with the Great Places to Work.

TheĀ Trust IndexĀ©Ā comprises 60 statements that evaluate collaboratorsā€™ perceptions of their workplace, specifically relating to behaviors associated with trust. TheseĀ statementsĀ are categorized intoĀ five dimensions: Credibility, Respect, Impartiality, Pride, and Camaraderie.

In order to achieve the Certificationā„¢, the data gathered through the survey needs to meet the minimum requirement of aĀ 90% level of statistical confidence, with aĀ maximum margin of error of 10.5%.

Our Recognition in the 2023 National Ranking

We were recognized amongĀ 50 organizationsĀ of different industries and scales, grouped intoĀ 3 categoriesĀ based on the number of employees:

  • 10 companies with less than 50 employees,
  • 25 companies with 51 to 300 employeesĀ (Kaizen is in this category)
  • 15 companies with over 301 employees.

According to the results of the Trust IndexĀ©,Ā 98% of Kaizen Softworks team members say this is a Great Place to Work, all things considered,Ā compared to 60% of employees at market companies.

How we Sustain a ā€œFor Allā€ Culture

Creating and sustaining aĀ positive workplace cultureĀ is essential for fostering a productive and happy workforce. One of the critical factors in achieving this at Kaizen isĀ open communicationĀ andĀ inclusivity in decision-making.

Encouraging a culture ofĀ transparencyĀ andĀ feedbackĀ helps us foster aĀ sense of community,Ā trust, andĀ accountability. Providing opportunities for team members to give and receive feedback helps us toĀ identify areas for improvementĀ andĀ recognize individual and team achievements.

OneĀ great exampleĀ of this is our recentĀ office move, being one of the most mentioned aspects in the Trust IndexĀ© Survey toĀ improve our company.Ā The entire process of finding and selecting a new office was organized and executed by the interested members of our team. This allowed for aĀ collaborativeĀ andĀ inclusiveĀ approach that ensured everyone’s needs and opinions were heard and considered. By valuing and implementing aĀ consent process, we were able to choose our new office making everyone part of the decision.
