Outdated Legacy System
- SmartSense was operating on a legacy platform that no longer supported their growing business needs, impacting overall efficiency.
Gaps in User Experience
- The existing interface was outdated, making it difficult for users to navigate the system effectively and get the seamless experience they expected.

- The platform missed key food safety and quality management features, adding complexity to maintaining compliance and slowing operations.
After successfully collaborating on a previous asset installation app, SmartSense trusted us to create a next-gen remote monitoring solution. Their goal was to revolutionize temperature monitoring and quality management for food safety and operational excellence.
We assembled a team of 8 to design and build a custom mobile app, replacing their outdated system with modern technology. The new app seamlessly captures temperatures via Bluetooth sensor integration, automates quality checklists, and ensures compliance with food safety standards. SmartSense customers can access real-time data, make informed decisions, and optimize operations.
The intuitive, user-friendly interface enhances navigation and workflow, while React Native and a scalable backend ensure the solution can evolve with SmartSense’s needs. We continue to support SmartSense as they set new standards in food safety and quality management
